About Me
My Story
Hello there!

I'm Carlos Pulido, an undergraduate student at Tufts University pursuing a degree in Engineering Psychology (Human Factors) with a minor in Engineering Management. My passion lies in enhancing user interfaces and user experiences in medical devices to bridge the gap between innovative technology and patient care. Originally from Delaware, I now call the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts my home.
My journey into human factors, design, and medical technology has been shaped by diverse experiences, including an oncology internship at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Spain, a research technician role at MGH contributing to medical device projects, and my current roles as a Tufts Sports Medicine Medical Assistant and an Organic Chemistry Lab Assistant.
I am deeply driven to design intuitive and user-friendly medical devices that positively impact patients' lives. Whether it's refining at-home medical device interfaces or contributing to cutting-edge healthcare technology, I thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments focused on innovation and usability.
Outside of academics and design, you'll find me leading as captain of my Latin dance team, actively contributing to cheerleading competitions, or immersing myself in leadership roles and fundraising initiatives that align with my passion for building strong, supportive communities.
Feel free to connect — I'm always excited to share ideas, collaborate on projects, or simply chat about design, healthcare technology, and leadership!
